Food was great as always. Hugo drink was very good. Starter tomato with morzarella. Tagliatelle with chanterelles-delicious. Nice and friendly staff. ? By the way, the breakfast can only be recommended.

It's a very nice restaurant,good food , friendly and professional staff also it's not expensive.

One of the best restaurants in all Baden Württemberg. Great hostess and wonderful food. You rarely find such nice employees. The Corona measures are all implemented in an exemplary manner and you feel very safe. A large wine list leaves nothing to be desired and you always get an expert answer. We recommend.

Best restaurant in Schwenningen! Super nice staff and a very nice ambience. Very well suited to simply have a good lunch, to go out in the evening or to dine on business.

Very friendly and attentive staff! We have been visiting Cafe Restaurant VAU for years and can say that the ambience, the staff and the food are first class. Because of this, we often have business meals there and give away vouchers for our valued customers. The fact that a forced closure has to take place due to Corona affects us very much as happy customers of the restaurant! May you open again soon !!!

The boss should work on your behavior towards guests. At our next table a lady was literally written to because she walked to the table without a mask. You can say this nicely and ask to wear a face mask. The staff takes a long time to arrive is sometimes very unfriendly. We have to wait about 1 hour for food and 20 minutes for drinks. It took 15 minutes until we were allowed to order. Personally, I will no longer enter this restaurant, no guest has to be yelled at by this lady in front of everyone. I stress yelling!

Food tastes good! But unfortunately only warm meals until 2 p.m. ... otherwise everything was great.

Unfortunately we had to wait over an hour until we got our food. At lunchtime it is already very full and probably not enough staff.

There is nothing to complain about in terms of food and ambience. However, this does not apply to staff / boss. Is it in the interest of the customer if you throw a guest out because he does not wear a mask for medical reasons and can present a medical certificate? Is it still possible? Something like that is called discrimination - not to mention the fact that one then becomes loud and speaks or screams with a raised voice. We will not visit this place again and tell all our friends and acquaintances about this embarrassing (for you) situation. Nobody will show up anymore.

We came spontaneously as a larger group and although the restaurant was quite full they pushed tables together for us and made space for 8 people. We had to wait longer for the waitress. The food came after an hour and a half. But it was very tasty! The salad has a delicious sauce and the sweet potato fries are crispy on the outside and still soft on the inside.

As always it was very tasty .. priced great. Great service. Are even dogs allowed, I think it's great .. highly recommended

Were there spontaneously .. were welcomed very nicely today we got a seat straight away ... the food was delicious ... everything was fresh and homemade ... I can recommend it ... atmosphere and service great ...

One can only recommend .. very nice waitresses. Ambience wow. Own parking spaces available ... and even a ramp for wheelchairs etc ... thumbs up

Staff is not really good. Nice but unfortunately it doesn't look like that. Breakfast was OK.

Finally brunch again! It was super great and the food was fantastic as usual. We totally missed it and are looking forward to the next time.

Highly recommended! I went to the Vau for brunch today and felt very comfortable. The staff is very friendly and there is a large selection of delicious dishes. Especially the dessert was executed so sweetly that I even had to take a picture :)

Good lunches, good beef. Fleet operations. And sometimes a prominent footballer of Schalke 04, who is still his home sits kennt✌ at the next table

we were in the restaurant on a Friday evening for dinner Only a few tables were occupied. The staff was friendly, the schnitzel was very good and very safe from the pan! The roast meat was exceptionally good, one of the best roast meat I've eaten! Price-performance ratio is absolutely fine! I would come again just because of the roast :-)

Visiting my Sister, she invited me to her favorite restaurant in Schwenningen so we went to VAU, perfectly located right next to the university :) Great atmosphere, beautiful furniture and really nice food for a reasonable price. The staff is very nice and caring as well, definitely gonna eat there again!

Good environment and good quality of food

A large selection of food and drinks, the front part is more on you. In the back of the tables with tablecloth also the well-stocked salad buffet is located in the back of the restaurant. A great breakfast in various combinations can be enjoyed here. Parking directly behind the building. Top address determined from 12 o'clock. Always recommended.
